SAIL conducted an auction for 60,000 t of iron ore tailings fines (Fe 58%-indicative) from Barsua mines in Odisha. The steelmaker received bids only for 20,000 t at INR 2,275/t (ex-mines, including royalty, DMF, NMET, and extra premium). The company had increased the base price by INR 200/t for this auction compared to the last auction on 20 Aug for the same grade.
