India: Balco, Hindalco hike aluminium ingot prices by INR 2,500/t ($31/t)

Primary aluminium producers, Balco and Hindalco, have raised aluminium ingot (P1020 grade 99.7%) prices by INR 2,500/t ($31/t) on d-o-d basis on 23 Sep’22. Balco’s effective prices stand at INR 209,000/t ($2,580/t) while Hindalco’s prices are at INR 204,250/t ($2,522/t) exw and excluding GST.
