SIEL to set up a 1.2 mt Pelletisation plant 

Presently in the business of ingot and billet manufacturing, Southern Ispat & Energy Limited (SIEL) is to set up a 1.2 million tons capacity Pelletisation plant with an estimated investment of Rs 300 crore (Rs 150 crore in the first phase).

SIEL is to start the commercial operations of its Pelletisation and beneficiation plant by April 2014 at Chattarpur (Madhya Pradesh), where it has acquired 100 acres of land.

The company is into mining activities in Buxwaha Iron ore mine that have high grade Fe content iron ore.
