SAIL-Bhilai Steel Plant has received 17 imported coking coal rakes during 1-20 Sept, much lower compared to the highs of 89 rakes recorded in July and 85 in Aug’22, CoalMint data reveals. One rake carries around 3,900 t of coal. The steel plant is facing supply crunch due to the lower coal loading despite bolstering imported coal inventory of 2.65 mnt at ports during 11-17 Sep.
