- SteelMint’s weekly price assessment dropped by $15/t to $455/t CPT Nepal, (FeM 80%, lumps 70%, fines 30%). Demand has now weakened as Nepalese mills had booked hefty volumes (around 42,500 t) in September.
- Also, no fresh deals were reported for Bangladesh. Current offers stand at $400/t CPT Benapole. However, a few deals of UK-based shredded scrap were reported at $470/t CNF Bangladesh.
