- China’s Shagang Steel has announced a price cut of RMB 20/t ($3/t) for scrap purchase of all grades, after 31 Aug.
- After revision, HMS (6-10 mm) prices are at RMB 3,120/t ($440/t) delivered to headquarters, including 13% VAT.
- The decline in rebar and steel prices in China led to a drop in Shagang’s scrap buy prices.
