South African iron ore lump import offers decreased by $10/t w-o-w tracking the slide in global iron ore prices. The assessment for lump (Fe 64%) stands at $100/t CNF Kandla. Benchmark global iron ore fines (Fe 62%) prices decreased by $7.60/t, w-o-w, to $96.65/t CNF China on 21 Sep. Spot iron ore lump premiums jumped from $0.0925/dry mtu last week to $0.102/dmtu this week.
