SAIL has conducted 40,000 t of iron ore dump fines (Fe 59%-indicative) auction today from its Bolani mines in Odisha. However, the auction failed to attract buyers and closed without a bid. As per the sources base price was INR 2615/t . In the last auction, 80,000 t of iron ore tailings (Fe 56%-indicative) from Barsua mines were sold at floor price of INR 1,475/t (ex-mines, including royalty, DMF, NMET, and extra premium).
