SAIL’s Chandrapur Ferro Alloys Plant conducted an auction on 20 September for 600 t of silico manganese (Mn 53-57%, 0-3mm, 3-10mm). Only a single lot of 100 t for Mn: 57% grade was booked at INR 62,700/t due to the bearish manganese alloys market. In the last auction on 16 Aug’22, 200 t of Mn: 57% grade material was booked at INR 65,570-INR 65,670/t exw.
