- The average price of shredded scrap stood at $409/t in Sep’22, down $19/t m-o-m, while prompt industrial composite scrap prices went down by $26/t to $411/t. The index for HMS fell by $16/t to $321/t m-o-m.
- The index tracks US spot market prices of steel mills and foundries.
