Induction furnace-route steel wire rod market in Raipur saw limited buying enquiries despite manufacturers reducing offers by INR 600/t d-o-d to INR 51,700/t exw. Around 900 t deals were concluded by traders in the price range of INR 51,000-51,300/t exw. The fall in semi-finished steel prices in key markets lowered buyers’ confidence, impacting spot trade volumes.
