India: SAIL’s pig iron auction sees active participation

• SAIL conducted two auctions of steel grade pig iron on 20 Sep’22 for 1,500 t each from Bhilai Steel Plant and Durgapur Steel Plant.
• *The entire quantity of 1,500 t each was booked at an average price of INR 43,980/t and INR 44,500/t exw from Bhilai and Durgapur plants respectively.
