South Korea: POSCO resumes operations at third electrical steel sheet plant at Pohang works

POSCO has resumed operations at its third electrical steel sheet plant at Pohang works. Moreover, the company plans to restart some more facilities between Oct-Dec’22. Production loss is estimated to be around 1.7 mnt, however, POSCO plans to lift production at Gwangyang works and reduce sales losses to 970,000 t through inventory sales. Sales are expected to decline by KRW 2 trillion.
