Multiple auctions of mild steel melting scrap were held by auto component producers in northern India this week. In one such auction by a Uttarakhand-based producer, 320 t of CR-busheling scrap received bids at INR 45,550-46,050/t ex works. In another auction, stainless steel turning scrap received bids at INR 45,700/t and 100 t of stainless steel solid scrap received bids at INR 53,350/t.
