China: Iron ore prices fall on bearish outlook

The spot price of iron ore in China dropped on 16 Sep’22 following the release of bearish macroeconomic data that weakened the country’s iron ore demand outlook. Benchmark Fe 62% fines prices decreased by $2.60/t to $98.45/t CFR China. Seaborne demand was limited with few deals heard in both the primary and secondary markets.
