India: Jharkhand mills conclude over 3,000 t billets, sponge iron deals

Jharkhand-based steel mills sold 1,200 t of billets in a price range of INR 47,700-47,900/t exw-Ramgarh.
1,100 t of P-DRI and 800 t of C-DRI (FeM 78%) deals were confirmed at INR 31,800-32,000/t and INR 34,500-34,700/t exw-Ramgarh respectively.
The market remained silent today with limited enquiries and few offers. Due to festive time ahead, buyers showed less interest in booking.
