China’s coal output fell for the second straight month at 370.44 mnt in Aug’22 as heavy rainfall affected mining operations at major coal-producing provinces. As per data from the National Bureau of Statistics, the average daily coal output in August is at 11.95 mnt. In Jan-Aug’22, the country churned out 2.93 bnt of coal, up 11% from the same period last year.
