Ukraine is likely to supply 100,000 t of thermal coal to Poland as the latter prepares to restock fuel for the upcoming winters following its sanctions on Russia. Poland relies on coal imports for 70% of their power generation. Ukrainian government has also ordered to expedite the upgrade of transmission line to Poland’s nuclear power plant.
