India: Jharkhand mills conclude over 7,000 t billets, sponge iron deals

Jharkhand-based steel mills sold 3,250 t of billets in a price range of INR 47,800-48,000/t exw-Ramgarh.
2,610 t of P-DRI and 1,600 t of C-DRI (FeM 78%) deals were confirmed at INR 32,000-32,200/t and INR 34,500-34,700/t exw-Ramgarh respectively.
Decent bulk bookings were noticed in the first half on active buying especially from Rajasthan. However, demand slowed down in the latter half.
