Japan: NSSC cuts stainless steel prices sharply in Sept’22

Nippon Stainless Steel Corporation (NSSC), the largest stainless steel manufacturer in Japan, adjusted prices of 300 series and heavy plates stainless steel for Sept’22, as per SteelDaily reports.
Prices of 300 series and heavy plate stainless steel have been lowered by JPY 20,000/t ($140/t) following the downtrend in LME nickel prices. Prices of 400 series have been kept unchanged.
