China’s HRC prices edge up by RMB 30/t ($4/t)

China’s HRC prices edged up by RMB 30/t ($4/t) while CRC prices remained unchanged on 13 Sept’22. According to SteelMint data, SHFE HRC futures for Jan’23 delivery settled today at RMB 3,860/t ($557/t), up by RMB 41/t ($6/t) from previous closing on 9 Sept’22. Current prices-

• HRC (4.5-12mm, Q235 B): RMB 4,000/t ($577/t)
• CRC (1-1.2mm, Q195-215A): RMB 4,355/t ($629/t)
• Prices are exw-Tianjin basis, inclusive of 13% VAT.
