India: South African RB3 coal sold at INR 13,800/t at Vizag Port

In a confirmed deal, 2,000 t of South African RB3 (4800 kcal/kg NAR) grade coal was sold at INR 13,800/t at Vizag, while no major deals of mid-CV RB2 (500 kcal/kg NAR) were heard amid limited supply at the port. Sponge iron manufacturers continue to procure small parcel trades of South African coal for blending with alternate fuels.
