India: RINL signs long-term iron ore purchase agreement with NMDC

Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL) has agreed to purchase 10 mnt of iron ore per year for long-term basis from India’s largest merchant iron ore mining company NMDC. This quantity would be around 25% of NMDC’s total iron ore production. NMDC has produced around 42 mnt of iron ore per annum from its mines situated in Bailadila, Chhattisgarh and Donimalai, Karnataka.
