India: Balco, Hindalco hike aluminium ingot prices by INR 1,500/t ($19/t)

Leading primary aluminium producers – Balco and Hindalco – have raised aluminium ingot (P1020 grade 99.7%) prices by INR 1,500/t ($19/t) on d-o-d basis.
After the revision, Balco’s effective prices stand at INR 211,500/t ($2,660/t) while Hindalco’s prices are at INR 206,750/t ($2,600/t).
The recovery in spot prices and futures supported the price hike, SteelMint understands.
