Norway: Hydro invests EUR 88 mn to build aluminium recycling plant in Hungary

Norway-based aluminium company Hydro has started the construction of a new aluminium recycling plant in Szekesfehervar, Hungary. The plant will produce advanced alloys for extrusions used in the premium automotive segment. Total investment expected is around EUR 88 million. The plant has an annual capacity of 90,000 t and is expected to start production in Q1 2024, as per latest reports.
