UMK, the world’s largest manganese ore miner, has cut offers for South African manganese ore lumps (Mn 37%) by $0.5/dmtu to $4/dmtu on CIF China basis for Oct’22. The miner reduced its offers to compete with South 32’s offers in a bid to boost buying activities in a bearish manganese alloys market.
