Chinese buyers recently booked South African chrome ore concentrates (40-42%) at $200/dmt on CIF basis, according to sources. Buying enquiries in the futures market have turned more active owing to better performance in the stainless steel market and the consistent uptick in Chinese ferro chrome prices.
