Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan remained stable at RMB 3,680/t ($529/t), inclusive of 13% VAT on 6 Sept’22. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE rebar futures contract for Jan’23 delivery closed today at RMB 3,693/t ($531/t), largely stable d-o-d compared to RMB 3,691/t ($530/t) on 5 Sept.
