China’s HRC, CRC prices stable, futures edge up

China’s HRC and CRC prices remained stable today as compared with previous assessment on 2 Sept’22. SHFE HRC futures for Jan’23 delivery settled today at RMB 3,713/t ($536/t), up by RMB 27/t ($4/t) against the closing on 2 Sept’22 . Current prices-

• HRC (4.5-12mm, Q235 B): RMB 3,920/t ($565/t)
• CRC (1-1.2mm, Q195-215A): RMB 4,325/t ($624/t)
• Prices are exw-Tianjin basis, inclusive of 13% VAT.
