Sponge iron, PDRI (FeM 80%), prices in Karnataka’s Bellary remains stable at INR 33,000/t exw, while iron ore-based DRI (CDRI) prices declined by INR 100/t on 5 Sep’22.
- 800 t PDRI deals were confirmed at INR 33,000-33,100/t exw against offers at INR 33,200/t exw.
- CDRI prices are at INR 34,000/t exw. Around 1,300 t of deals were reported.
- Spot buying remained slow on drop in billet offers.
