India: Vedanta cuts foundry grade pig iron offers by INR 1,500/t ($19)

Vedanta Resources, a leading domestic pig iron manufacturer in western India, reduced prices for Gujarat based buyers.
Current offers for foundry grade pig iron are at around INR 53,400/t delivered (DAP) to Ahmedabad (ex Depot).
Price cuts by other players and weak market sentiments led to a sharp drop in offers.
