Hindustan Zinc Ltd (HZL) has sharply reduced zinc and lead ingot prices today. Effective prices of lead ingots stand at INR 183,300/t ($2,295/t), down by INR 6,200/t ($78/t) whereas special high-grade (SHG) zinc ingot prices were reduced by INR 30,700/t ($384/t) to INR 304,300/t ($3,810/t) exw-Jodhpur. The price cut was in line with a significant fall in futures by $430/t w-o-w.
