Ship-breaking melting scrap prices dropped by INR 300/t d-o-d in Gujarat’s Alang market, SteelMint assessment shows. HMS (80:20) prices are assessed at INR 43,700/t exy. The fall in semi-finished steel prices in the late hours of last trading session and limited trading activities in the north and western region resulted in reduction in offers today.
