India: Bids decrease by INR 1,100/t at SAIL-RSP pig iron auction

SAIL’s Rourkela Steel Plant held an auction for 1,500 t of steel grade pig iron on 3 Sep’22. About 1,300 t was booked at an average price of INR 44,471/t exw.
In the previous auction conducted on 27 Aug for the same grade, 1,400 t was booked at an average price of INR 45,607/t exw out of 2,000 t of material on offer.
