Turkiye: Ferrous scrap imports fall nearly 15%, m-o-m, in July

Turkiye’s ferrous scrap imports were recorded at 1.37 mnt in Jul’22, down 14% m-o-m from 1.59 mnt in Jun, as per SteelMint data.
The USA continued to be the largest supplier at 380,000 t, followed by the UK and the Netherlands at 160,000 t and 110,000 t respectively.
On a y-o-y basis, scrap imports decreased by 42% as against 2.35 mnt in Jul’21.
