China’s steel inventory edges down by 2% w-o-w to 10.3 mnt

China’s steel inventory edged down by 2% w-o-w to 10.3 mnt as on 2 Sept’22 against 10.54 mnt in the previous week, as per Lange Steel.

• Stocks of HRCs and plates fell by 3% each w-o-w to 2.4 mnt and 1.11 mnt respectively while CRC stocks dropped marginally by 1% w-o-w to 1.35 mnt.
• Rebar and wire rod stocks fell by 3% and 1% w-o-w to 4.18 mnt and 1.26 mnt respectively.
