In Gujarat’s Alang market, ship-breaking melting scrap prices were stable today, as per SteelMint assessment. HMS (80:20) prices are assessed at INR 44,000/t exy. Limited buying inquiries in semis in yesterday’s trading session and moderate buying for scrap at current prices prompted suppliers to keep their offers stable.
