Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction today for 80,000 t of iron ore tailings (Fe 56% Indicative) from its Barsua mines in Odisha. The auction failed to receive response from buyers. The last auction held on 9 Aug for 80,000 t of the same grade material also closed without a single bid due to the higher base price.
