India: Jharkhand mills conclude over 4,000 t billets, sponge iron deals

Jharkhand-based steel mills sold 1,500 t of billets at a price range of INR 48,000-48,400/t exw-Ramgarh.
1,400 t of P-DRI and 1,250 t of C-DRI (FeM 78%) deals were confirmed at INR 33,000-33,400/t and INR 35,000-35,400/t exw-Ramgarh respectively.
The market participants were less active and trades recorded were below than average. Buyers were cautious to take positions and thus, only need-based bookings were seen.
