India: HR strip (patra) prices drop by INR 100/t d-o-d in key markets

HR strip (patra) prices fell by INR 100/t ($1/t) in both Raipur and Mandi market on 27 Aug’22. Current base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices stand at INR 51,400/t ($643/t) exw-Raipur and INR 51,500/t ($644/t) exw-Mandi, excluding GST at 18%. Prices decreased by INR 1,100/t ($14/t) and INR 2,500/t ($31/t) w-o-w in Raipur and Mandi, respectively.
