- SAIL-Rourkela Steel Plant held an auction for 2,000 t (20 lots) of steel grade pig iron on 27 Aug’22. Bids were received for only 1,400 t (14 lots) at INR 45,607/t exw.
- In the company’s previous auction conducted on 20 Aug for the same grade, the entire quantity (2,000 t) was booked at an average price of INR 46,205/t exw.
