Indonesian coal prices rose by $1-6/t as enquiries from several coal importing countries picked up. Following heavy rains in China, traders were heard procuring low-to-mid CV coal, lifting prices of 5000 kcal/kg NAR grade by $6/t. High-CV 6500 kcal/kg NAR grade prices also rose by $3/t amid strong demand from Europe after Russian energy giant Gazprom announced to halt its gas supply to Europe for three days.
