Global alumina production improves marginally in July – IAI

Global alumina production rebounded by 3.56% to 12.152 mnt in July against 11.73 mnt in the previous month, data from International Aluminium Institute (IAI) shows. China accounted for a major share in global production at 7.05 mnt, with market share at 58.01%. Daily average alumina production stood at 392,000 t in the month, up marginally by 0.23% from 391,100 t in June.
