China’s CRC prices down marginally by RMB 20/t ($3/t)

China’s CRC prices dropped marginally by RMB 20/t ($3/t) while HRC prices remained unchanged d-o-d on 26 Aug’22. According to SteelMint data, SHFE HRC futures for Oct’22 delivery settled today at RMB 4,044/t ($589/t), up by RMB 18/t ($2/t) d-o-d. Current prices-

• HRC (4.5-12mm, Q235 B): RMB 4,020/t ($586/t)
• CRC (1-1.2mm, Q195-215A): RMB 4,395/t ($641/t)
• Prices are exw-Tianjin basis, inclusive of 13% VAT.
