Ship-breaking melting scrap prices declined further by INR 300/t d-o-d in Gujarat’s Alang market, SteelMint assessment shows. HMS (80:20) prices are assessed at INR 44,700/t exy. Steady semis prices in the western region along with limited trading activity during yesterday’s session prompted scrap suppliers to reduce their offers today.
