- SteelMint’s price assessment of domestic 304 grade stainless steel scrap remained range bound at INR 136,000/t ($1,701/t) ex-Delhi today compared with 23 Aug’22.
- The three-month contract prices on LME fluctuated over the week and are currently at $21,354/t, down by $531/t w-o-w as compared to the levels on 17 Aug’22.
- There is a shortage of scrap in the domestic market. SS scrap imports also fell to the lowest in six months in July.
