China’s HRC prices increase by RMB 20/t ($3/t)

China’s HRC prices increased by RMB 20/t ($3/t) while CRC prices remained largely stable d-o-d on 25 Aug’22. According to SteelMint data, SHFE HRC futures for Oct’22 delivery settled today at RMB 4,026/t ($588/t), up by RMB 50/t ($7/t) d-o-d. Current prices-

• HRC (4.5-12mm, Q235 B): RMB 4,020/t ($587/t)
• CRC (1-1.2mm, Q195-215A): RMB 4,415/t ($644/t)
• Prices are exw-Tianjin basis, inclusive of 13% VAT.
