Hindustan Zinc Ltd. (HZL) reduced lead ingot prices by INR 8,100/t ($101/t) today against 22 Aug’22. The effective price stands at INR 192,000/t ($2,404/t), whereas special high-grade (SHG) zinc ingot prices remained unchanged at INR 332,600/t ($4,165/t) exw-Jodhpur. LME’s future prices have corrected recently and this could be the factor behind the price correction despite persistent low stocks at registered warehouses.
