India: Portside South African RB3 traded at INR 14,800/t at Vizag

In a confirmed deal, 2,000 t of South African RB3 (4800 kcal/kg NAR) grade coal was sold at INR 14,800/t at Vizag Port. In another deal, 5,000 t of RB2 (5500 kcal/kg NAR) grade was sold at INR 17,400/t at Paradip Port. Imported coal demand by sponge iron manufacturers continued to remain strong with adjustments in blending ratio with alternate origin.
