Bharat Aluminium Company (Balco) and Hindustan Aluminium Corporation Limited (Hindalco) have raised primary aluminium ingot (P1020 grade 99.7%) prices by INR 4,500/t ($56/t) and INR 6,000/t ($75/t) in the past couple of days. After the revision, Balco’s effective price stands at INR 227,750/t ($2,857/t) while Hindalco’s price is at INR 227,500/t ($2,853/t). The price rise came on the back of a slight increase in exchange prices.
